DVEX Audio Recorder help

Start with these steps if a recording is silent or will not save.

1. Choose Chrome Tab in the sharing dialog, select the tab playing your audio, and enable Share tab audio.
2. Keep the recorder tab open during capture. Check that the audio meter moves while your source plays.
3. Click Stop, listen to the preview, and export WebM or WAV.
4. Reopen the extension to restore your latest completed recording. Recovery does not restore an interrupted recording.

Installation

For the current unpacked release, extract the downloaded ZIP. Open chrome://extensions, enable Developer mode, choose Load unpacked, and select the folder containing manifest.json.

Report a problem

You can leave a report in the discussion below our recording guide. Include the DVEX version, Chrome version, operating system, and the exact error. Do not include passwords, account tokens, private recordings, or payment details. Submissions are moderated and may become public after approval.
